The Paris-based group–LVMH, which is headed by France’s richest man–Bernard Arnault, just reported its sales growth of 3% at its flagship fashion and leather goods business in the first quarter. The figure is well below the expectations of 5-6%.
In a statement issued after the Paris market closed on Monday night, LVMH gave no explanation for its underperformance relative to the market expectations.
